Is 35 mph that big of a life changing event for you? Is nothing else in your life or in this world that is more important to you than this issue?
Why not take all of your negative 35 mph is too slow for a 2 mile stretch of road negativity and put it to some good use in this world.
Move on or move out.
As a side note I drive 34 mph now on OTR now just to piss people like you off | Really, thats your attitude? If you don't like it, get out? I thought our country was supposed to be more open minded than this.
Its not the most important issue in the world, but speed limits as a whole being stupidly low is somewhat of an important issue (and this is a glaring example).
Why don't you take your energy and help design a sensible traffic system where officers SAVE LIVES by stopping tailgaters and aggressive drivers instead of sitting in underposted areas stopping people for doing reasonable speeds? My issue is that UNDERPOSTED ROADS AND STUPID SPEED ENFORCEMENT KILLS PEOPLE! Indirectly often, but it does nonetheless. Not with this road specifically itself, though you can pretend all you want that I believe that just to feel better. What, is saving lives not 'significant' enough for you? And those roads you named are all less open than this one. Thus, proves my point. |

And if you drive 34 mph on this road, you're going to get run over by about 60 cars... |

You can sit there smugly thinking you're on the 'right side' for following the letter of the law. The reality is most people don't monitor their speedometer obsessively and if the limit is too low for the road, many random people will get caught speeding. I'll bet you will be one of them someday. But go ahead, just act like I'm an impatient driver trying to 'justify my behavior'....
In reality, I'm opposed to our whole traffic law enforcement system because its stupid and outdated and doesn't ends up not doing a good job. |

Most of these posts seem to be a non-resident complaining about something the town has no control over, but enjoys getting a response. Rather then lend these posts credence just ignore these posts. This is how the WW board went downhill with out of towners flaming it. |
