There was a bad accident last night on Cranbury Neck Rd. The road is shut down as of this morning. Very sad that someone lost their life. Be careful out there when driving - some roads can be very icy. May he rest in peace. I am not sure if the person was local or not. Either way very very sad. |

I believe it was middle of the night last night around 1am. Car was traveling towards Main Street and struck and damaged the two telephone poles just after passing Ancil Davison. It then came to rest near a third telephone after flipping multiple times. The car was torn to shreds. It appeared that the engine or transmission was torn from the car. It must have been traveling at a very high speed to destroy two telephone poles and continue towards a third and to have mangled the car to the extent that it was. Sad for someone to lose their life. Also, wreckless to be driving at that type of speed on a road with no lights especially given the temperature and potential for ice last night. |
