The issue is the prosecutors. I was in NYC and couldn’t get my credit card to work on the turnstile. An officer came over and helped me. As he was right there three people jumped the stile. He looked at me and said nothing I’m allowed to do. We are not enforcing laws. In NYC the DA has said if a person holds up a deli with a gun, but no one is harmed it should not be prosecuted as a felony. Stores are being shop lifted because the prosecutors won’t prosecute. |

Bail reform, defunding the police, not prosecuting or incarcerating chronic offenders. Great ideas. Instead of fixing the real problems that exist in the inner cities and improving quality of life, we are ensuring that those problems are leaking out into the suburbs. |
