In the last 30 plus years the Republicans have only had the majority one time.

Simply not true. Alan Danser was mayor, at that period there was a second Republican mayor. Very reasonable men but the found themselves on the wrong side of land preservation. The ensuing 2or 3 election cycles had a Democratic majority(the Tom Gambino era). The election of Win Cody brought the last Republican majority. Win became Mayor and his extreme tea party behavior caused one of the Republican councilman to become an independent. I repeat, put up reasonable. Non MAGA candidates and you will do well. Put up unstable loons like Win and well, you get what you deserve.

Stephen King should worry more about killer clowns in the sewers, undead cats, rabid dogs, and killer self aware cars!

The suggestion of Richard Kallan is excellent. There is a fellow who is an engineer and certainly a dedicated Cranburian. His attention to detail and his outstanding attendance record for 40+ years shows a dedication like none of the many short timer wannabees .
Maybe there should be a campaign to have him as a write in? The present slate of Committee members leaves a lot to be desired. He would be the guy to challenge the Administrator who leads the uneducated present Committee around like sheep. That is how we almost lost the Fire Company!

Richard will not stand up to the administrator. Nobody will.
