My auto gas bill has increased a lot, so do my grocery bills. The government keeps telling us the inflation is tame. What's going on? Am I the only one feeling the pain of inflation?!

Some manufactures maintain the price for a product, but reduce the weight/volume of the product. For example, a box of macaroni and cheese is still $2.99, but it just weights 12 ounces instead of 14.

I am not sure the government is smart enough to catch this kind of inflation.
