|
|
Recently, I tried the new MyLibraryDV video download program offered by the Cranbury library. I like it.
Here are the steps to install the necessary software on your PC to access this free service:
1. Click the following link to download the installation software, cranbury_nj.exe.
http://mldv.permissiontv.com/channels/cranbury_nj/
You will see a big icon (as shown below). Click it to download the software.
2. Run the "cranbury_nj.exe" file
I can install the cranbury_nj.exe on my Windows XP PC.
3. After the software is installed on your PC, click the "Cranbury Public Library" TV icon on your PC.
4. Enter your library card barcode number to sign in
5. Click the "CHANNEL GUIDE" to see the available video downloads
The available channels are:
1. Movies
2. Documentaries
3. Food
4. Health
5. How-To
6. Kids
7. Literature
8. Travel
Enjoy!

This is great. I installed the software on my PC. Now, my 5 year old daughter can watch her favorite PBS kids shows on the PC by clicking a few mouse buttons. Thanks. |
