DRAFT COAH PLAN TO BE PRESENTED AT THE TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE MEETING OF OCTOBER 13, 2008

As part of the Township Committee meeting of October 13, 2008 there will be a recommended proposal for the Fair Share Plan and Housing Element plan to the Township Committee. The process for preparing and adopting the plans will be reviewed. The Fair Share Plan and Housing Element must be filed with the Council on Affordable Housing (COAH) by December 31st. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the Cranbury School Large Group Room.

It should be noted that Township has already completed 16 units of affordable housing and has acquired the Route 130-D site for the current round. The actual number of units for the 130-D site will depend on other components of the plan.

Do we get to see this plan and read it before the meeting so the public comment can be informed? Or will they give us another chance to do that before any action is taken?
