Aug. 10 at the Invacare Corporation warehouse on South River Road, two 40-foot containers, along with their trailers, were reported stolen, said Cranbury police.
Although the containers and trailers were located at the Invacare warehouse, Invacare was not the victim in the theft.
”Thefts such as these are not uncommon, and we work with local businesses to better educate them and secure their property and merchandise,” said Chief Rickey Varga of the Cranbury police.
Detective Raymond Wetzel of the Cranbury police is investigating the theft and searching for suspects as well as the owners of the trailers.
Other incidents in Cranbury included five minor car accidents involving no injuries.
