Has anyone been to the Cranbury Inn recently? Food was overpriced, It was ok, nothing spectacular. It has been a while since I have been in there and it will be a long time before I return unfortunately. I love the old building and it's charm. I hope the food will be improved.
Why is that yellow corvette always parked out front?

I personally haven't had good experiences. The food is overpriced and not great. The owner is arrogant and difficult to deal with. Catered events aren't bad if you aren't paying and don't have to deal with Tom(owner).

Why is it always parked out front? So everyone can see how important they are?

It's marketing. It's eye catching to drive traffic. You'll always know the Cranbury Inn because of the Vette.

Its a shame too because it has so much potential. Same with the Rooster cafe. It has really gone downhill. How is the new italian place?

Tom and Gay have always been very nice to me when I have been to the Inn. I do not go often, but the both of them always go out of their way to say HI to me, even when I see them in Teddy's.

On the other hand, Karen Finnagin from the Blue Rooster is not to friendly. Her husband is a very very nice man, but she can use some help in the friendliness department.

I think it is time to start a new thread where we slam our neighbors. This is the perfect opportunity for those of us too cowardly to approach our neighbors to get back at them anonymously. Think of the possibilities. Don't limit yourself to saying that they are rude or nasty. Feel free to use sexual innuendo. Sub-threads to come; an attack their children thread and nasty things they do to their aging parents. ENJOY

New Italian place (Molto Bene) is priced a bit on the high side but the food is fantastic. It's a nice compliment to Cranbury Pizza. Servers and staff are also very friendly.

Incidentally, a new place near Molto Bene's old location in Hightstown - Mercer Grill - also serves up fantastic food.
