Memorial Day Ceremony at Brainerd Cemetery

On Monday, May 28 at 11:30 a.m., members of the New Jersey Civil War History Association will conduct their annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Civil War Monument in Brainerd Cemetery, behind the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury on South Main St. in Cranbury. Re-enacters in Civil War uniforms and women in period dress will take part in the impressive 30 minute ceremony in memory of those soldiers from the area who were in the Civil War.

Book Signing on May 28

On Memorial Day, beginning at 12:45 a.m. John Chambers will sign copies of his new book, Cranbury, A New Jersey Town from the Colonial Era to the Present, in front of the Cranbury History Center, 6 South Main St. The book is $29.95 and checks should be made payable to Cranbury Landmarks, Inc.


Reception and Book Signing on Friday, June 1 at 7 p.m.

John Chambers will be honored at the Cranbury Public Library at a reception and book signing for his new book, Cranbury, A New Jersey Town from the Colonial Era to the Present. The book is $29.95 and checks should be made payable to Cranbury Landmarks, Inc.
