BRAINERD LAKE DAM PROJECT UPDATE

July 28, 2014

Stone veneer has been completed on all walls except directly adjacent to the weir and inside of the weir. The joints of the existing stone on the downstream side are complete. The vertical wall south of the culvert on the lake side was poured.

Thanks to TC for these valuable updates. I've noticed the lake looks increasingly shallow, has more and more vegetation every year and the trees in village park are slowly collapsing as that bank gives into the waterway. Is there any information on the plan for the general health maintenance or maybe at this point renewal of the lake? Thanks in advance. Your work is greatly appreciated.
