CRANBURY: No candidates for school board so far

CRANBURY — With three days until the July 27 nominating deadline, no township residents have filed to run for the three open seats on the Cranbury Township Board of Education, according to Middlesex County officials.

Up for grabs are the seats currently held by Lynne Schwarz, Karen Callahan and Dominique Jones. Their terms expire January 2016. All three seats are full three-year terms.

Please be advised the July 24th issue of the Cranbury Press it not accurate. At least three petitions for the Cranbury Board of Education in the names of KAREN CALLAHAN, DOMINIQUE JONES and BRIAN BARRY, had been hand delivered and filed with the Middlesex County Office of Elections. It is unfortunate that the press did not find it necessary to contact myself, or to me knowledge the Board of Education office to verify.
