Lol. Trolls. You agree that the Twp is spending 2m on a library despite every event having someone from the library asking for donations?

You agree that the TC is looking for money for the school despite the bone being the only entity that deals with school finances. Lol

The bottom line is the school will need taxpayer funding dollars to replace revenue from the Indivisible Library and we the taxpayers will be stuck with funding any updates to the school library and the loss of revenue from the library.--------------Thank you Mr. Cook , Mr Johnson and Ms. Goetz, and Mr. Mulligan, you all have cost the rest of us a bundle!!!!

Unfortunately with the present Committee membership there is no type of development that is unacceptable. Any rateable regardless of the impact on the taxpaying public nor adverse impact on the environment is too great . The board members who approve these applications are under the thumb of the people who appoint them [The Committee] . Even after the application is approved they fail to enforce the conditions of approval because we are so development friendly. For example: do you ever smell that acrid smell on main street or in the park,at the Cranbury Inn or The First Presbyterian Church and Brainerd Lake? That smell comes from a facility that MANUFACTURES products on Santa Fe way in the "office/warehouse zone". The township knows they are in violation but fails to stop them from smelling up the town. The Committee motto is No Rateable Is Unacceptable-----------
Yes I have noticed that horrible smell. Why isn't something done about that?

The smell still exists because the zoning officer along with the Board of Health fail to enforce the conditions of approval and the health ordinances---Why ?one might ask? Well that is because the Committee, along with the Administrator, are so Pro Developer-----end of story---so just continue to inhale that acrid smell and remember you live in Cranburyland; the town that wishes it was like it used to be!-------------

Correct that was in part to preserve the other side of 130. But now this TC is essentially allowing a strip mall on Old Trenton Rd. and s Main. So this TC is tossing aside the prior years of planning.

They are also continually easing the allowed uses in various zones despite the master plan being revised in 2010.

At some point the TC and PB need to look back at prior planning efforts before it is too late.

Planning or zoning board I can't remember who gave the retail and home building on south Main Street to the land owners when the master plan was written in 2010 to clean up the mess

The master plan was developed by the TC, PB, and ZB. The redevelopment plan which is what created the whole Townhouse/strip mall that is being built was a separate issue. This plan was with one developer that unified all properties. In itself the concept of unifying the properties for a common look is a good one.

The TC ran the project as a redevelopment plan outside of the PB as a whole. Instead a small subgroup of people from PB and TC made decisions with the developer and then brought it back to the TC and town. You can see all the details on the TC website.

The issue is that the plan presented to the town is misleading. For example, there was only retail allowed. But the TC voted after to allow for medical offices.

So even what was presented and agreed on with the developer is changing based on discussions the TC has continued with the developer. So we're getting more traffic, more noise and more kids.

By the way the former PB chair's name is Allan Kehrt and I wonder if the Tc were not so pressing whether he would have agreed to this. The warehouse district looks so nice and not run down because of him.

I did not know this Alan Kurt fellow was in charge of the upkeep of the warehouses in town Does he own a painting grass cutting building maintenance business? Is that how he keeps it looking so nice?

LOL.

Allan was the one who along with the other PB members held the warehouses to design standards when they were built. Just look at some north Jersey warehouses to see how bad they could turn out. I have clients with operations in some warehouse parks in other areas along with Cranbury. They all have told me how their warehouses in Cranbury are the nicest looking in terms of the surrounding area and that they have applied concepts on future builds.

First off spell his name correctly.

Secondly, I am a Cranbury lover. While no one lives there we do look at it. I'd much rather look at something nice then a dump. And from the clients I work with they like it too so it's a win for businesses and for the town. Perhaps you're one of the TC members that sacrifice our character for an extra dollar.

Why would you want a dump?
