Builder eyeing warehouse
Plan to be reviewed late July
A plan to build more than 900,000 square feet of warehousing on Station Road is scheduled to be reviewed by the Planning Board on July 20.
ProLogis, an international developer that provides distribution facilities and services to its tenants, is applying to expand an existing warehouse and construct two additional warehouses on a 139-acre parcel across from the Cranbury Police Station and Home Depot warehouse on Cranbury Station Road.
The land, which is zoned for light impact industrial, currently has an 815,435-square-foot, one-story building on the property which is being used by Home Depot and was formerly used by Jamesway. ProLogis, which owns an eight-building business park on Half Acre Road, is applying to add 105,812 square feet onto the existing building, 13,000 of which will be used for office space.
