County Sponsors Free Labor Day Weekend Concert AUG. 4, 2016 -- The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders is proud to present the 11th Annual Labor Day Weekend Concert. This free event will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4 at the Stephen J. Capestro Theater on Pine Drive in Roosevelt Park in Edison. The gates will open at 3 p.m. Come out for an evening of unforgettable, high energy entertainment. First, the Bronx Wanderers will perform hits of the past as well as sounds of today. Listen to the hits of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and Dion, along with Coldplay, Bruno Mars and many more. Then join us for the ultimate Chicago tribute band, Beginnings. “We are pleased to present this annual event,” said Freeholder Charles E. Tomaro, chair of the County’s Infrastructure Management Committee, which oversees the Parks and Recreation Office. “This concert is always an entertaining show that is fun for the whole family. It is certainly one of my favorite events of the year!” Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios said: “Middlesex County is very proud of beautiful Roosevelt Park. It is the perfect setting to enjoy live music. On behalf of the Freeholder Board, I encourage all residents to join us for this wonderful free event.” The concert is free and open to the public. Concertgoers must bring their own lawn chairs. If necessary, a rain date will be announced. For more information, contact the Middlesex County Parks Office at 732-745-3936 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. http://www.cranburytownship.org/notices/free-concert-090416.html
