Post subject: CURBSIDE CHIPPING SERVICE - JANUARY 2012
CURBSIDE CHIPPING SERVICE – JANUARY 2012
Chipping of brush and branches usually commences on the third Wednesday each month. However, January is the exception. The DPW is scheduled to chip discarded Christmas trees every Wednesday during January. Please place the tree at the curb by 7:00am with all decorations, garland, strands of lights, and any other objects removed. Remember that strands of lights (working and non-working) can be recycled by bringing them to the recycle shed which will be opened on January 6th from 12-3pm.
Keep in mind that each Wednesday is the start date and not necessarily the day the DPW crew will be in front of your house chipping. Depending on the amount of brush at curbside, the chipping service can take a couple days and up to 1 to 2 weeks for completion. We ask that you please be patient while the DPW works the route.
