Post subject: Pegasus Theatre Project presents "Bakersfield Mist," a play by Stephen
Pegasus Theatre Project--the professional, resident theatre company of the West Windsor Arts Council--is presenting the searing, clever, and sometimes funny drama,
Bakersfield Mist
, written by Stephen Sachs and directed by Peter Bisgaier, April 13-22 at the West Windsor Arts Center.
When unemployed bartender, Maude Gutman, comes to believe a painting she bought for $3 in a thrift store is really an undiscovered Jackson Pollock, she thinks she's struck it rich! But when eminent NY art expert, Lionel Percy, arrives at her trailer to evaluate the painting, it results in an afternoon neither one of them ever expected.
Inspired by true events, Bakersfield Mist exposes our deepest and darkest perceptions of class, truth, and how we define what's valuable. Don't miss this culture clash that's messier than a Jackson Pollock, but just as thrilling!
Starring: Donne Petito & Rupert Hinton
April 13-22, 2018 at the West Windsor Arts Center, 952 Alexander St., Princeton Junction, NJ
Tickets: $22-26. Group rates are available!
