Cranbury is going to be a Christmas spectacular night for the kids! With the women's club event and the Shaws starting their Christmas Spectacular on Main street shows there is no better place in NJ to be than in Cranbury with the family! What a special town we live in!

“Cranbury Christmas Spectacular”
On December 2nd, from 6:15-7:30 pm families can enjoy the Annual Women’s Club of Cranbury Tree Lighting with a new twist. At this year’s event, children will be able to visit Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, Reindeer Flight School, Santa’s Workshop and more! There will be crafts and activities to do at each venue, such as letter writing to Santa, making reindeer feed and cookie decorating. Traditional carols will begin at 7 pm and will be lead by Mrs. K, with The Cranbury Brass Band. And of course the tree will be lit! After the lighting, there will be a surprise visit from Santa Claus sponsored by the Cranbury Fire Department.
Cadette Girl Scout Kelly Coyle has been working on the event with the Women’s Club for her silver award project. She wanted to create a fantasyland for the children to explore and get more families to attend the Tree Lighting. In addition Kelly will be collecting Toys for Tots and felt it is a great way for the children in Cranbury to give to others who otherwise may not have as nice a Christmas.
She has also been working with Girl Scout troops in town to create eco-friendly ornaments for the tree so that NJ songbirds will have some place to feed over the winter.
The event will kick off at the Firehouse at 6:15 pm. Admission is free but feel free to bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys For Tots program.
