I was sorely disappointed he didn't get picked for the new season of "girls next door". However, mark my words, when he turns 50, he will get his very own cover on AARP Magazine! |

But the committe has the ability to consider people holistically at the time they are awarding the prize, not just at the time of the nomination. It's probably pro forma that someone would have nominated him, just as most leaders are probably nominated every year. So the nomination date is a Red Herring.
Still, the timing is ironic, with one of the top two topics relating to Obama right now (along with health care) being whether he is going to send more troops to Afganitsan and in general affirming his support of the continued war there. |
