My tax dollar has nothing to do with it? Hmm I guess all the police used to shut down the roads for several hours are free! And I guess the DPW guys who clean up are also free. Make no mistake that parade costs thousands of tax payer dollars and it is a want not a need. Same with the fireworks.
Whatever...clear flaming post.

Come and enjoy this annual event! The Memorial Day Parade will begin at 1:00pm, May 31st. The parade route starts on South Main Street and travels up North Main Street to Plainsboro Road then onto Maplewood Avenue. The parade then makes its way back to the starting point.
After the parade, Township Officials and local Boy Scouts will be at Memorial Park to pay tribute to the many men and women whom this day honors. Stop and say hello to these dedicated Officials, friends, and familiar faces. Remember to thank the Veterans!
Always a fun filled day!

I agree, all fire trucks and no Veteran's. But at least the parade goes around twice so we can see both sides of the fire trucks. What a waste of my tax dollar.
Your tax dollars have nothing to do with the parade and if you don't like it don't watch. A lot of VOLUNTEER effort goes into the parade and many people including my family and children love it. Thank you Lions club for organizing it and thank you to all those who work to organize and walk.

Will there at least be some Veteran's? Seems like it is all fire trucks and ambulances each year and that is it.
