ALERT –
SUSPCIOUS FORD EXPLORER
In response to the detective bureau’s request to check exterior surveillance video, a facility manager of a research company on Cedar Brook reports that his cameras recorded a suspicious vehicle passing through the rear loading dock and back door area five times between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2011. The daytime recordings clearly picture a dark-colored Ford Explorer with an unknown license plate registration.
It slowly meanders in the loading dock area. During the 9:00 p.m. footage, it pulls a trailer which may have a New Jersey license plate (straw-colored). It is not know whether this trailer had any property on top.
With the high price of metal, suspects, throughout the area, including Cranbury, have been taking metal, especially cooper, wherever they have access. Please check your video for any similar activities. Please do not store such metal outside if intended to be used or cashed for scrap.
Please report suspicious recordings to the detective bureau. Report any suspicious activity immediately to the Cranbury Police dispatcher at (609) 395-0031.
Thank you for your assistance.

Given the release I would assume one of the warehouses. There seems to be a lot going on there.

Post subject: Police Alert ALERT
On Saturday, October 8, 2011, Cranbury Township Police responded to a report of a suspicious male in a desolated parking lot near trailers. The time was about 9:30 p.m. Security observed a male walking away from the trailers. Patrol officers did not locate the suspect.
After studying the recording, investigators found no logical reason that someone who would be on the company’s property at that time. Moreover, the suspect did not stop when requested by the security officer. Perhaps, the male was scouting for a trailer theft.
Please review exterior surveillance footage, and report any suspicious activity to detectives. Always contact the Cranbury Township Police dispatcher immediately at (609) 395-0031 when suspecting suspicious activity.
Please also review your cameras and ensure adequate lighting.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
