Our family was absolutely worn out by the end of the day (5K and fun run in the morning, volunteering at Cranbury Day during the day, two soccer games mixed in, followed by the camp out -- it was a bit much). I don't think there's an economy of scale doing it on that day -- perhaps the week after might be nice?
