1/4 of Cranbury is a few people compared to the number of people who normally travel Old Trenton during rush hour. As previous posters have pointed out you must be new to Shadow Oaks if you don't know Old Trenton floods and u haven't figured alternate ways to get home [/quote]

People living in Shadow Oaks should know that area is flood-prone. If not, then they must be new comers. It's a good idea for the residents to know a backup route when Old Trenton Rd. is blocked.
Two backup routes come to mind:
1) Via Liedtke Dr. from Main St.
2) Via Old Cranbury Rd. from Rt-130.
Agree. I would say 99% of people know the flood potential and how to get around. This happens several times a year with the road being flooded.

During rush hour the amount of traffic that would have to do uturns or would actually be stupid enough to try to drive through the flood makes it better to prevent traffic from turning onto Old Trenton Road. It may be slightly inconvient for the relatively few people that live on/or off of Old Trenton in Cranbury but they will figure it out.
few people? 1/4 of the town at least lives here in shadow oaks.

Yep, I agree. I figured out a backup route to use today.

For people living in Shadow Oaks, Old Trenton Rd. is blocked, so right turn from Main St. is not possible now.
To get home, the best way is to make a right turn to Liedtke Dr. (before the traffic lights) from Main St.
