To me the wording on the site reads pretty clearly that Susan will not support public funds for the new library. If you are so concerned why don't you just contact Susan directly? I have contacted her through her web site and I received a thorough reply within a couple hours. I can't imagine why any candidate would want to come on here and reply to anonymous posts.
Look at this site with people not posting names. Why wouldthey post on Susan's site? If she wants feedback then accepting by any means is a positive thing.
They would post on Susan's site if they legitimately cared about an answer. If you had a question about the warranty on your iPod would you post here hoping an Apple employee would see or would you call Apple directly? Susan and Karen have both given easy methods for contacting them and yet people insist on posting on here. There is no reason to remain anonymous on this issue unless you don't really care. With all the mudslinging that goes on here I can't blame both candidates for staying away. Even if you don't want your name on her site then just send her an email or something. Jesus, people on here get dumber by the day.
I thought you were talking of her providing an alternate means to asking her question than her site. Not saying go there instead of here. Of course you should ask her or Katen directly. However, I support Susan for not making a post on her site the only way to ask a question.
I actually contacted her via the contact page on her site. She responded back quickly and gave me her home number. She also offered to stop by one night after work to talk in person. My point being that there are a number of ways to get in touch that don't go through this site. I apologize for reading your post as saying that candidates should come on here to ask questions. I don't think a comment on her site should be the only way, just one of many ways that don't include using this site.

Post subject: Re: Taxpayer Funding of the Library
FYI, this seems to make it pretty clear. I remember reading this in the letter she sent around, but in case anyone missed it...
http://www.susangoetz.com/letter-to-cranbury-residents/
"Library – A library can be a community treasure and I will personally contribute to its development. Nevertheless, as your TC rep, I can not support public funding of a new library as a component of our Township budget. I do, however, support the dedication of public land as identified in the Master Plan for the library’s construction I also thank the group committed to this aggressive fund raising and urge everyone to take the time to understand this effort."

I just read the site, and while I agree that the wording clearly states that Susan does not support public funds for the library, more importantly at the end she says:
"You can let me know how you feel about a privately funded free-standing library, either with a comment to this site or drop me a note at 22 Brainerd Drive."
And then there is a comment section at the bottom. Why would you not just leave your comment there?

I think respecting the wishes of the MAJORITY of taxpayers should far outweigh any personal preferences. We have had too many things[Like the Baseball Field] jammed down our throats by individuals promoting their own pet personal projects.

Post subject: Taxpayer Funding of the Library
Thanks for poster who included the link to Susan Goetz's website, there was something interesting on the site regarding the her position on a new library. She states regarding the library.
At the same time and equally as important, there is legitimate concern about any decision which would impact our economic stability as a town and as individual property owners during these challenging economic times. I have heard from many of you that there must be no commitment for public spending at this time for a new library, and if that is how the people of Cranbury feel, I intend to respect that position.
What does this mean? We all know some people are in favor of public funding, and others are opposed. Susan and her supporters read this site, can Susan post what is her position on using taxpayer funds for a new library, the town will likely always be split on this issue. It is important to understand where she personally stands on this issue.
