I doubt it. They didn't have enough integrity to not sell gift certificates when they more than likely knew they were going to close before people would be able to redeem them.
Last time I drove past, the For Sale signs were still posted.

Seems you're probably right. I have a card, too. Seems pretty unethical to sell gift cards when the likelihood of anyone being able to use them is slim to none. I don't know that they were open since Christmas, which is when i got mine. I wonder if the owners will show some integrity and provide refunds.

Yes, do a search. It was the subject of a very long topic here a few weeks back, one that often drifted into related issues like the Blue Rooster and whether the citizens of the Township have an obligation to not criticize the local business, etc...
This was not brougt up on the other boards, this in whole is a totally different question, this asks IF H&M has been sold. The article says it will be sold on March 15th no where is there any talk about that on these boards.

Just found this on craigslist.org - has anyone heard if this has been sold?
Open House ONE DAY ONLY on SUNDAY March 15th, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the restaurant location: 39 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ 08512. The business will be sold by end of the day. A 10% refundable deposit is required with offer. The sale includes all furniture, fixtures and kitchen equipment including refrigerators and freezers. The restaurant layout includes 4 dining rooms, kitchen, separate prep room and private employee parking, all located in an historic property on the Main Street of Cranbury, NJ in Middlesex County. The lease is $4,865 per month NNN.
This restaurant business includes 60 seats, a full commercial kitchen and authorization for outside sidewalk seating. The location was formerly the home of Hannah & Mason’s, a fine-dining establishment in Cranbury NJ that was much beloved by the local community.
The previous owners were featured on the FOX TV hit series “Kitchen Nightmares”. The partnership problems revealed in the TV episode eventually led to the closure of the business despite the investment in redecoration and redesign of the facilities that was a benefit of being selected for the TV episode.
