This post is great!!! Isn't it disgusting how pols use religion to make or bolster their case
I agree. I also hate how the anti-religion crowd has to make everything offensive. For example, the removal of town Christmas trees and Menorah's, the reciting of the pledge of allegiance, under God on our coins. Both sides the anti-religion and corruption of religion side are wrong. And please, religion is not Republican or Democrat. The leaders of Coaliton for Peace are reverends.

Yet another topic that has nothing to do with Cranbury.

They in the uneducated is the people writing the article not the people portraying Mary and Joseph. To me those people were just in bad taste looking to capitalize on Christmas.

I believe that we need to help people. I also believe that we should have programs to help those less fortunate. I do not believe we should have towns forced to have more than 20% of their town be town sponsored housing which is what COAH is. I also find it to be more PR the Mary and Joseph stunt. After all the paper was there in advance to catch the people, they were ready to write the article.
It's too bad they were uneducated. Joseph and Mary were not rich. However, Joseph worked hard provided a home and was in Bethlem looking to rent and pay for a room. He didn't go in asking for free housing for life.

It appears the affordable housing advocates are using the bad economy, horrendous job market and even religious symbols to make their point these days...
