Defendants are considered innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law. 07/26/2008 Scott Simonelli of Cranbury was charged with driving while intoxicated. The incident occurred on North Main Street. Additional charges include reckless driving, careless driving, driving while suspended, driving on private property to avoid a traffic signal and weaving. 08/01/2008 While on an Aggressive Driver detail, a Cranbury Officer stopped Frank Zrinko of South Plainfield for failing to use a seatbelt and talking on a cellular telephone while operating a motor vehicle. A warrant check revealed an active arrest warrant for failing to appear in court. Mr. Zrinko was arrested, posted bail and was released. Aggressive Driver details are paid for with grant money from the New Jersey Department of Highway Traffic Safety. 08/02/2008 Shawn Durden of Neptune City was charged with driving while intoxicated. The incident occurred on Route 130. Additional charges include reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and obstructed view. 08/05/2008 Martin Tiu of Plainsboro was charged with disorderly conduct after he was found to have operated a bicycle, apparently intoxicated, and then provided false information to a Cranbury Police Officer. Mr. Tiu had fallen off his bicycle, which drew the attention of a passing motorist. The motorist contacted the Cranbury Township Police Department. Comments: In the month of July, the Cranbury Township Police Department received 47 suspicious person and suspicious vehicle calls from Cranbury Residents.
