Ah the intellectual weighs in. Calling names adds soooo much to the discussion.

No, I'm not kidding!
I knew some jerk in college who got caught driving under the influence, and he got away with it.
He later crashed a new car of his, but, he remained unscathed.
He was incredibly lucky, but, stupid.

Good, I completely agree. Drunk driving is like firing a loaded gun into a crowd of people. They may not have the intent to kill but they are showing reckless disregard for human life and should be treated accordingly. The first time, whether we were lucky enough to catch them before they did harm or not.

Absurd statement - take a look at DUI laws and enforcement in red states -- just another intrusion by the government in citizens' private affairs.

This weekend alone I noticed six cars pulled over for speeding. Just look at the TC minutes to see how hard the town is cracking down and not just on speeding either.

I've never seen anyone pulled over for speeding in Cranbury. The Slow Down in Our Town campaign is a joke. People drive far too fast both downtown and in Cranbury Neck and Plainsboro Rd residential areas, and the cops are oblivious...

Sounds like you are oblivious. I see cars being ticketed quite often.
