Do you need any additional help from volunteers? If so, please provide contact info. I'd be happy to help.

Update - to answer some of the questions we have received - yes, we will be adding additional garland to the rest of the railing. Unfortunately, the garland with lights were not the lights we had ordered, we tried them out to see if they might work and they don't so we are replacing them and putting up the correct ones (warm white versus pure white LED lights are very different) We won't get this done before the tree lighting on Friday but you should expect them shortly after. We plan on having these lights for a long time so "we best be right!"
Once they are up we will be adding some lovely ribbons to give a bit of contrast. You may have also noticed that the light has been added to the fountain thanks again to volunteers. While not a holiday light , it does add to the area.
The wreaths on the light poles should go up this week as will greens in the baskets on the light poles. All of that along with the beautiful way the downtown residents decorate should make our town beautiful for the Holidays.

Post subject: Holiday Decorations and Thanks
I wanted to give a special shout out and thank you to the volunteers who came by the Old Firehouse yesterday to help install the newest Holiday decorations on Main Street. With input from the Downtown Beautification committee, (Dave Szabo, Lee Nissen, Chris Ondecin and JayTaylor and myself) we have decided to take full advantage of the beautiful railings along the Lake and downstream side and install lighted garlands on both sides of the street. Also taking full advantage of yesterday's warm weather, the garlands were unpacked , prepared and then installed. Looks like I underestimated on the order so we have a small portion to complete before we turn them on after Thanksgiving but the sneak peak last night was beautiful and , before we are asked, yes, we were sure to use energy efficient LED lighting.
Helping to pull this all off were Lee Nissen, Dave and Pam Szabo ( we benefitted by Pam's quiet but firm "teacher voice" at times to keep us all on point), Denise Maribello, the entire Taylor clan, Keith Shaw and the boys , Dave Cook and Dan and Bridgette Mulligan .
Still a bit more decorations to install on Town Hall and the light poles along the downtown area. A second thank you goes to the Cranbury Business Association who donated to the budget this year. Note that their luminary night this year will be December 23rd. All of our families coming back into town for that holiday will get to see this beautiful tradition also.
