Consent Agenda

a).  Resolution # R 10-08-173 – Payment of Bills.

b).  Resolution # R 10-08-174 –An amendment to RnD Professional Services Agreement for computer consulting services in the amount of $20,000.

c).  Resolution # R 10-08-175 – Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute a new agreement with RnD Consulting Services for computer services from 2008-2009 in a not-to-exceed amount of  $10,000.

d).  Resolution # R 10-08-176 – Resolution providing for the insertion of a Special Item of Revenue in the Municipal Budget of the Township of Cranbury pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:4-87 (Chapter 159, P.L. 1948) for “Drunk Driving Grant FY 2007/2008”.

e).  Resolution # R 10-08-177 – Resolution approving Change Order No. 1 to

Contract No. 36, a Contract with DeFino Contracting Company for the  Wynnewood Drive and Woodview Drive roadway improvements.

f).  Resolution # R 10-08-178 – Resolution rescinding Resolution # R 09-08-164, approving Change Order No. 1 to the Township’s Contract with Precise Construction, Inc. for the Babe Ruth Baseball Field ($19,270.00).

g).  Resolution # R 10-08-179 – Resolution acknowledging acceptance of $10,000 from the Municipal Excess Liability Joint Insurance Fund (“MEL”) pertaining to litigation (O’Shea-McMurtrie v. Township of Cranbury, Docket No. MID-L-5156-08).

a).  Resolution # R 10-08-180 – Resolution approving the Township’s 2008-2013 “Community Forestry Management Plan” as the official plan for the management of Cranbury Township’s shade tree resources.

b).  Resolution # R 10-08-181 – Resolution authorizing a Shared Services Agreement with Middlesex County for improvements to the Brainerd Lake Bridge and Dam Site; N.J.S.A. 40A:65A-1 ET SEQ.

7.                  Reports from Township Staff and Professionals

a).  Monthly Report from Police Chief Edward L. Kahler, III

Chief Kahler will present and discuss the Police Department’s Report for the month of September, 2008.

8.         Work Session

a). Discussion of Draft Amended Third Round Affordable Housing Plan

The Township’s COAH Consultant, Mary Beth Lonergan, will present and discuss with the Township Committee the Draft amended Third Round Affordable Housing Plan.
