Post subject: Chipping Service for July 2011
Chipping Service for July 2011
Curbside chipping is scheduled to begin this month on July 20th which is the 3rd Wednesday. Chipping may be placed at the curb beginning July 16th.
Notices of violation were mailed to offending homeowners this month. Be assured that the notice was sent to inform you of the changes that occurred to Ordinance #120 and the non-compliance protocol of brush/chipping and leaf pick up that was placed at the curb. If you received a bright orange notice, please review the highlighted offense. Should you not understand why the notice was sent to you or if you received it in error, please call 395-0900 x229 so we can discuss this.
Please note that the curbside leaf pickup has ceased for the season. If you have leaves at the curb, please remove them. Leaves can be composted with grass clippings to make organic mulch. The next scheduled leaf pickup will begin in the fall about mid October. An announcement will be made as the time nears.
