WaWa has not yet made the application because they are waiting for the change in the Master Plan which has yet to be adopted. However, their representatives have called the township and will apply once the zoning from the master plan occurs. If they applied now it would be cumbersome since the zone is not set for WaWa to operate there as it stands today.

Now, I can't say people won't come out. Only why they have not yet applied.

When you say the Master Plan has not been adopted what do you mean? I thought the Planning Board did adopt the plan. Do you mean that the Zoning Board has not yet adopted specific rules to adapt to the new Master Plan?

Yes and No. The concept was finalized at the end of 2010. However, the PB has to finalize the actual master plan and all the changes that were made which is a function of the board, the planner and attorney. Then when that is completed it has to go to the TC for review and adoption. Right now it's still with the planner and attorney I believe.

No a super Wawa will be opening up where the Cranbury Service Center is now. And the Service center will move to where Applegate Trucking was on Station Rd.

Bologna, The town kills ANY new type of business. They killed a Wawa for Rt 130 and Station Road years ago because "The children will try to cross the highway".
I really wish this were true but I do not believe.

You are correct. The specifics I recall were that it happened around 2000. It was supposed to be on the Southeast corner of the intersection of route 130 and station road. I believe it was supposed to by a White Hen not a WaWa. We literally had people show up at meetings and claim children would be killed.

I have looked through planning and zoning minutes and cannot find anywhere in them where it even mentions a Wawa or convenience store on 130.
If anyone knows where to look for this info I would appreciate it.

Give it up people - they are not opening up again - there is a sign on the window for lease - unless someone else buys it and keeps it a chinese place. How many more clues do you need???

I just called the main restaurant in West Windsor. The lady on the phone said it will open again. At this point they do not have enough people to work in the Cranbury location. I told the woman on the phone that we are eagerly waiting for the restaurant to open.
I find this quite hard to believe.

I guess the "long vacation" was just an excuse to buy time then and it didn't work out.
