With 13 square miles to protect and the police force at its lowest manpower levels in years, we are probably not going to see police like we use to. |

I never see the police in town. I thought it was because they were off protecting the warehouses. If they are not patrolling town and they are not patrolling the warehouses then where are they? |

Jackson Police Arrest Man in Connection with Theft at Cranbury Louis Vuitton Warehouse
On Tuesday March 13, 2012, a search warrant was executed and a search conducted at a residence on Oregon Avenue. The search was conducted in reference to an investigation involving the Jackson Police Detective Bureau and the Cranbury Police Department regarding a large theft out of a warehouse in Cranbury.
During the search, stolen property from the Louis Vuitton warehouse in Cranbury was recovered, along with a quantity of marijuana.
Arrested:
John Woods, age 20 of Jackson.
Mr. Woods was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute. Bail was set at $25,000 and Mr. Woods was later lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
