Disagree. I see them downtown and in the neighborhoods, maybe not as frequently as in the past, but they are there.

With 13 square miles to protect and the police force at its lowest manpower levels in years, we are probably not going to see police like we use to.

Jackson Police Arrest Man in Connection with Theft at Cranbury Louis Vuitton Warehouse



On Tuesday March 13, 2012, a search warrant was executed and a search conducted at a residence on Oregon Avenue. The search was conducted in reference to an investigation involving the Jackson Police Detective Bureau and the Cranbury Police Department regarding a large theft out of a warehouse in Cranbury.

During the search, stolen property from the Louis Vuitton warehouse in Cranbury was recovered, along with a quantity of marijuana.


Arrested:

John Woods, age 20 of Jackson.

Mr. Woods was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute. Bail was set at $25,000 and Mr. Woods was later lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
