They are probably right. I suspect in ranked order is
1) Daggett
2) Christie
3) Corzine
And I say that as a Democrat. Corzine is a disaster, and wahts to legislate Cranbury out of existence.

Pretty self explanatory. But the more interesting implication of Daggett's strong polling (for an independent) will be who those votes hurt more. My understanding was that early on he pulled roughly equally from the two party candidates. Now it may be that he is pulling more votes from Christie, if what I hear is correct.
I think it is great to see an Independent in the mix. Whether his strong polling reflects strong belief in his ideas, or protest against the "other guys" is unclear...likely a combination of both. But the possibility of our incumbent winning again, despite very low approval ratings, does weigh on my mind. Daggett has said he will stay in it til the end...I wonder how voters will respond. Will they vote for a person that will very likely not win outside of a primary party, either out of principle or protest, and risk allowing an unpopular governor to win re-election? Or will they cast a protest vote with Christie, even though his shine is dimming in the polls.
Should be an interesting November.

That means both the Republican and Democratic candidates are not good for NJ, according to Star-Ledger.
