A groundhog testing positive for rabies in Cranbury, Middlesex County, was found in the vicinity of Petty and Plainsboro Roads, Cranbury.
Rabies Prevention Guidelines:
* Immediately report any animal bites to your local health department and consult a physician as soon as possible.
* Report any wild animal showing signs of unusual behavior
* Be sure that family pets have a current rabies vaccination
* Avoid contact with stray animals or pets
