Not very believable, why would the Historical Society be at odds with a commission that is supposed to keep the town historical? My only objection is that they bent over backwards to let that new house in town. There must have been some palms greased on that one. |
The historical society is about town history. This is a private group that is not funded by any tax dollars. The Historic Preservation Commission is set up by the town, funded and managed by the town to make the historic village keep it's look.
The Society as a group is made up of over 100 members. Many of them oppose the restrictive view of HPC and they have no role with HPC. The historical society because they are close in name to HPC has received bad publicity and people assume there is a connection. I am a society member and have no role with HPC or their rules. |
your view is just plain wrong, what do you do for the society |

I have been to this place when it was in Hightstown. It will be the best thing to happen in Cranbury in years. The sooner the better. |

I spoke with Jay Taylor. He said he spoke with one of the owners and they are targeting to open by early November. |

Just in case no one has noticed, Molto Bene' is moving into the Hot Wok space. Looks like it will be a nice addition to Main St. |

Uh, no, not everyone in Cranbury eats there. I would say of our friends and neighbors at most it's 50-50. |
Whatever YUPPIES - teddys has been there longer then you people have been in this town - GET OVER IT!!! |
Point of information. Who are these YUPPIES? By definition there are no YUPPIES in Cranbury. YUPPIE as a term refers to Young Urban Professional. Call Cranbury whatever you want but Urban would be incorrect. | es Cranbury is urban. Shadow Oaks , Cranbury greene, etc. |

The historical society is a private group. They don't have anything to do with town rules.
The historic preservation commission is a town entity that creates rules on how things have to look and be done. The two groups don't mix and actually many society members oppose the restrictive town commission.
So I do not understand hysterical society either. Hysterical commission I would get. |

I second this !!!!!!!!!
Let's call it Brainerd's Pub to keep the Hysterical Society happy. |
We already have wonderful Italian food right here in Cranbury. A small beer joint with music on the weekends would be great |
What are you referring to? |
Never could understand why Hysterical instead of Historical. I think you're mixing CHPS up with another group! |

After you idiots are done arguing over not knowing anything.... the strip club is sounding better.
Maybe they will have school class trips there?
Show the K-8 boys what they can spend their money on or the girls what careers are available...
LMAO
Hey why not an ice cream store or pizzeria or a bank or a Midas muffler will open up in town.
BTW Teddy's Rocks! |

Get over what? No one had a problem with Teddy's being there. It's the posters who seem defensive about Teddy's that seem to have a problem to get over. |
