Thank you Susan. I think future Mayors could learn from this open dialogue. Maybe you could bring other staff at different times so the public could meet them.

Post subject: Thanks for Coming out to Teddy's for Coffee with the Mayor and the Chief
We had a terrific turn out yesterday at Teddy's. Starting at 7AM we had a constant flow of great conversations. We met three new residents , all having recently moved onto Main Street who are all thrilled to become a part of our community. Topics we discussed throughout the morning covered a broad range of issues including the new sidewalk project (obviously the number 1 topic!), first responder sirens, trees on the Dam, dog survey options and rabies clinics, various Grant opportunities for transportation alternatives and the potential to expand our pedestrian pathways, signage in the Nature Preserve and pedestrian and runner safety along Cranbury Neck and Plainsboro Road. Many people were also interested in understanding what they could do to help the homeowner who experienced the house fire last week. Know that the Fire Department has set up a program to help. Take a look elsewhere in this forum or call the Fire Department for information on how to contribute.
If you couldn't get out to Teddy's on Saturday morning or didn't get a chance to speak with either us, please drop me a note at
SGoetz@Cranbury-NJ.com
or leave a message at 609-395-0900, extension 234 and I will call you back.
We are looking to schedule our next coffee and may actually do this more often if there is interest. Please let us know your thoughts. On behalf of Chief Varga and myself, thank you - Susan Goetz, Mayor.
