As the library board has chosen to cut hours over the years, they have chosen to eliminate hours on nights and weekends. In recent years, the library has amplified conflicts with the school as part of its case for building a new building. As an example, as the library has cut operational hours in recent years, the hours have been cut at times when the school is closed... Evenings, weekends, summer, holidays.
