The health department has inspected and seen it as well. The issue isn't if it's a problem but why it hasn't been fixed yet and why the owner has abandoned care for the site and isn't being held accountable. Whatever they are or are not "trying," they are not succeeding. <br /> <br />If they are so impotent and powerless to prevent a fundamental health hazard what is their plan B to deal with the mosquitoes? <br /> <br />Who has spoken to the owner? The Health Officer needs to issue a summons and notify Middlesex County Mosquito Control. Over the years numerous summons have been issued for this type of violation.The County has even issued warnings of potential violations ie; flower pots and tires not being stacked properly thus having the potential to breed mosquitoes if filled with rain water. The power lies with the HEALTH DEPARTMENT, but the township pays the Health Department for providing the "service".
