Maybe being stuck with septic like we are is not so bad after all... We pay once every 2-3 years for a cleaning and that's it...
It's more for me. My drain field replacement cost me more than $11,000.
Yep, that is the downside / risk. Presumably if properly maintained, this should be a once every 20 years or so thing though, so that works out to about $550/year, plus another $100 for the average annual cost of the cleaning.

Quotes are from the Cranbury Press artical.
"If the ordinance is approved, the public will see an increase in the quarterly flat fees from $17 per quarter to $56.25 per quarter, she said."
330% increase
"The per gallon consumption rate will also go up if the ordinance gets committee approval, from $2.75 per 1,000 gallons of water used to $6.60 per 1,000 gallons of water used."
240% increase
Is my math correct??
That seems like a very steep increase in rates.
