News and Announcements - December 5, 2023
Dear Cranbury Residents,
LAST CHANCE - PICKLEBALL SURVEY. The Cranbury Recreation Commission has been asked to explore the option of Pickleball Courts in Cranbury. Please help us to gauge the interest by completing this super-quick survey: Click Here to Complete Survey. The survey will close December 8. This resident interest survey is one component of the many factors that will play into the Township Committee decision in early 2024.
HAPPY LIBRARY ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY. Late November marked the one-year anniversary of our new free-standing public library at 30 Park Place West. After almost three years without a proper public library space, the new library team had an amazing first year: 33,843 people visited the library, and 649 new library cards issued; 16,396 print books checked out; and 29,917 non-print and digital materials checked out. The programming in the first year has been impressive. The collection now includes access to all books across Middlesex County libraries, access to The New York Times on-line, and magazines through Flipster.
If you were unable to join the Cranbury School “Town Hall” conversation last week, you can access the archived video here or the presentation. Then, please take a moment to answer our survey. Thanks for partnering with our blue-ribbon K-8 school!
Thanks to the Cranbury Lions for the always fun Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, as well as our volunteer fire company for supporting this fun event. If you believe in serving our community, please consider joining the Lions to keep these events happening for our community.
