Every town and city (not just cranbury) has a maximum length of parking in public spots, not just Cranbury. It's a matter of being fair to everyone and not storing private property on public space. The little red car, which has since been moved out of your line of vision, pales in comparison to the unsightly Haggerty and Cheney properties that we have lived with for years. I don't think it would've bothered me enough to start this thread. But I took notice of it and I happened to see this thread so I figured why not give my opinion. My personal opinion would be that it would be better if we didn't leave damaged cars on main street. The car seems drivable I'm sure it's possible for that person to move it into their driveway, they would just rather not use their space to store their things. Slightly annoying at most, but annoying nonetheless.

I see the car several times a day while walking or driving by. WHO CARES? Why let these small things in life bother you??

The car belongs to a taxpayer.Unfortunatly it was hit by someone and damaged. Can't we have a less than pristine car in town? It is parked on a public street and properly registered. Just because it is not up to the "Cranbury Perfection Standard" doesn't mean it must be moved to satisfy some nitpicker. There are many things in this town that need attention but this is far from the top of the list. LET IT GO!

If it's not running, put it into neutral and push or pull it. Main St. and other pieces of public property are not storage spots for damaged personal property. I would call it eye catching, in a negative way.

You are correct - it was hit from behind by a Comcast service truck. More than likely it won't be moved until it's repaired contingent on insurance, fault finding, estimate development, shop availability etc. etc. The owner is merely waiting to move forward. Thanks for the concern.

Looks like it was hit from behind with the rear lights broken. I'm not complaining or anything just doesn't seem like its moved, and its kind of strange to see it there like that.. Is someone in need of help? I'm not the kind of person to just ignore something that looks out of the norm, especially if someone needs a hand with something.
