I agree. Except that Joe and Jay share similar views. If we wanted new blood and different views you'd replace one of the other 4 with Joe. When it's a 4-1 vote Jay is usually the one stand alone. That is why I think Joe is a good replacement if Jay decides not to run. Not because he and Jay disagree.

Interesting. I know Jay is expecting twins so I don't know if he'll run again. If he doesn't I think Joe would be a good replacement as he and Jay seem close and to share similar views. For example, they both are in the fire company and opposed the maintenance code.
So I think Joe would stand up and not be afraid to be the sole dissenter when necessary.
I congratulate all and hope my taxes will stay down this year like last.

Joe would be a wonderful replacement for Jay Taylor who has served 2 terms.

I was impressed with the showing Joe made in his first run, congratulations to him also. I hope he chooses to stay/get more involved. I like his enthusiasm and he seems to get along easily with people.
Agreed. Joe should run again. Dan didn't get elected the first time either and now is the top receiver of votes for a second term. In the recent past most of the incumbents have only averaged a couple terms, so there have been elections without a full slate of incumbents to run against.

I would like to thank all of my friends and neighbors that supported me once again this year as I am honored to be allowed to serve our town for 3 more years. Additionally I would like to congratulate Glenn Johnson on his re-election as well as Joe and Tom for their spirited campaigns. Of course none of this would have been possible without the support of my family.
The final numbers tonight...

Glenn R. Johnson 665
