Post subject: Middlesex GOP chairman suggests a Democratic mayor as Republican Senate candidat
Middlesex County GOP Chairman Joseph Leo is a little out of it: one of the names he mentioned as possible State Senate candidates was Cranbury Mayor David Stout, who happens to be a Democrat. Another candidate Leo mentioned was Brian Hackett, a 22-year-old college student who must age eight more years before he reaches the minimum age to serve in the State Senate, as set by the New Jersey Constitution.
