Cranstock 2011 is All About the Music
Music lovers will delight in this year's Cranstock, a family friendly showcase of local musicians. Cranstock 2011 features a new location, behind Cranbury School; a new time, 10 AM to 5 PM; and a new date, September 10th to coincide with Cranbury Day.

When asked about the changes, Cranstock's organizer Debbie Rifkin said, "We're very excited about this year's show. I think the vibe will be a little different with the new location, date and time. Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited on school grounds, but that's fine. Cranstock is all about the music. Its all about the arts... and that is what the Cranbury Arts Council is about."

Guitarist Andy Heilbronn explained, "There's nothing better than having the chance to play for our friends and families." Musician Pete Borg chimed in, "We're going to put on a great show and have a great time!"

Is there anywhere I can get a schedule of the performing acts?

I think they meant to say "what happens if it rains" meaning, is there a rain date.

It depends. That is a showtime decision by the organizers.

Anyone know if they're still going on with the show today? If rain, will they move the music into the school building, or will they have a raindate??

Just got back from seeing Barbecue Bob and the Spareribs...these guys ALWAYS deliver! Outstanding job as always, guys.

Thanks to the Cranbury Arts Council for having Bob and the boys play again this year at Cranstock.

Whose idea was it to stick Cranstock behind the school? It couldn't have been more off the beaten path than that. What a shame all that talent had to play for only a handful of people. Having Cranstock in the park was so much more of a true concert setting. Please, either get back to the park concept or at least try and work out a way to have the entertainment tent somewhere along Main Street where most of the people gather or stroll by. In my mind, Cranstock is a winner but this year's performing location was certainly not the best choice. Thanks for allowing me to share my thoughts.
