So, she still ate half a sandwich.
Case closed! |

That is one of many reasons I do not eat at Teddy's. It just does not look clean to eat in.
Any reputable place would have taken the sandwich off of the bill to make you happy and avoid embarrassment. |

That is disgusting. That's why I refuse to go in there, not even for coffee (which doesn't even look like coffee, it looks grey). |

Was in necessary to post somthing like this on these boards??? Teddy's is a great place... It is an asset to the town - and wlll aways be. The food might not be 5 stars but its a family place where you feel welcome and meet old and new friends. I enjoy the food - but if i want 5 star - I will go to NYC.... ITS A DINER!!! Keep your thoughts to yourself - no need to post on this board.. |

I have been goingbthere for over 30 years. Is it a Ruth Chris or Morton's, no. It doesn't pretend to be. However, I enjoy going because the staff knows you, the food is inexpensive compared to other options, they and the customers don't care about an upset child and while not every meal is 100% I know more often than not I will have a good meal. I have eaten in many five star places where I had bad meals as well. |

Sharing a bad experience is fair game. Personally, I think it could have been handled differently (certainly remove the charge from the bill). But I agree that Teddy's is an asset to the town. I enjoy going in and seeing folks I know, and I generally enjoy my meal.
The only objection I have with this online forum is the anonymous posts that get mean spirited. According to the OP, the meal was unsatisfactory, as was the lack of resolution at bill time. I am fine with that being shared. I just wish some of the others on this forum exercised the same level of social decorum online as they (hopefully) do in person. |

To your point we do not even know if this really happened because the person that claims this happened never used a real name. No real name = no validity.

I know the people who had the hairy sandwich. This REALLY Happened. Im glad they shared this. Their opinion is much more useful than the typical rants about parking and complaints about things that cannot be changed in this lovely village. |

OK - this is funny - only because we live in such a small town, something like this was going to be figured out. Kind of feel bad for the two of them. Makes you think before you write things on these boards... Something like a hair in a sandwich does not happen to often!! And its ashame that Anthony being a small business owner himself would put down another local business in town. |

Aren't they the owners of Cranbury Bagel Barn? Why are they lunching on sandwiches at Teddy's? Makes you wonder why someone who owns a sandwich shop would choose to go across the street for their sandwiches. I'm sure it was just "market research"...right...? |

Anthony does not own the bagel barn. Vince does and his dad Joe helps out. I forget their last name. Anthony owns RA Nichols. |
