Just for fun and please no negative posting I thought it would be interesting to see how the polls on Cranbury.info compare to the actual vote. So just post Susan or Karen, Kanka or Greenstein, Benson or DeAngelo or Wittman or McGowan. Then we'll see how this compares to the actual vote. It will be interesting to see if this site really has a pulse on the town. The poll is only for how the candidates will do here.
I'll go first.
Karen,
Greenstein
Wittman
not voting for another assembly person as I want Wayne to win. |

Sure, I will play along, too. Although this election does not have me hugely excited, I am leaning:
Susan (by a slim margin - I don't detect huge differences in their platforms, but I have not been happy with the manner in which parts of the local Rep. party have divided the party/nor the leadership over the past 10 months).
Greenstein - she has a solid base in the district, so I think she will run away with this one. She is more attentive to our town than DeAngelo. Yes, I know the issue with her afforable housing vote...so I do not need vitriolic responses to my view.
Wittman - although I wish I saw more of what he was doing now. I'd attend a town event for him. Maybe there has been one?
Benson - b/c he is not Deangelo. I have seen no interest from Wayne re: our town, so he does not have mine. |

Susan for TC. I thought she was much more knowledge of local issues.
Had not made a decision on state senate until 5 minutes ago. I always vote against the first person who runs a negative add. At 10:40 tonight on CNN Kanka went negative. I know very little about him, but I hate negative adds and his was the first one I saw, so......Greenstein for senate.
Wittman for assembly. Good guy.
The other assembly vote, anybody but D'Angelo. |

Karen is what Cranbury needs on the TC. She is a thinker and a solid candidate with the background savey that will challenge some of the sloppy members of the TC with governmentall run trash on their minds.
Wayne is a proven supporter of Cranbury and has governmental experience that will be a welcome change in the Assembly. |

The intent is not to go negative. Just say the vote. |

Who are the sloppy members? Cite what they have done that is sloppy or done improperly. I can say the meetings are run poorly, but I don't think any of the 5 are sloppy. In fact I think they all do well in terms of management. We may not agree with their stance on a vote. However, I think all if them are doing what they are supposed to. Looking at mtg notes they are attending their committee meetings like Rec or HPC. They are managing expenses ie the police contract. In fact if the next TC person steps in like Glenn, Dave, Jay and Dan I would feel that we may have the best TC in recent years. |

Karen may very well be tea party, but Wayne is a mainstream republican. He was mainstream when he was on the TC and from my recent conversations I have no reason to believe otherwise. |

And Susan is extremely left on many policies. She is representing herself as someone in the middle in order to get elected. For instance have you heard one of her main goals is to have an ordinance passed so home owners will not be able to remove a tree from their property without the towns approval. We have seen this type of behavior before on our town council and cannot let this happen again. That is why I will not be voting for Susan. |

"One of her main goals..." Since I have not seen this in her literature and it was not mentioned on candidates night, I find it hard to believe it is one of her main goals. In fact it may not be a goal at all.
Do tell, what are her other "extremely left" policies? |

There is no such thing as a mainstream republican these days. Wayne will be supporting right wing Christie and his extreme agenda |
