I want to thank the Public Works, Police, fire and first aid squad.

Last night as I looked out my window I saw these individuals all running through our town responding to emergencies and what I assume were down power lines.

I am so appreciative for these services. I am even more thankful that our volunteers took time away from their own families and homes to protect homes and people they may not know.

I'd like to thank the public works crew, the police & fire department for all of their efforts during this terrible storm. They came and cleared a large tree that had fallen in the road in front of my driveway at 5PM Monday - just as the winds were getting worse. They worked tirelessly until all was safe and then moved on to the next fallen tree in town.

I'm really glad that we have such a great team of people that take care of emergencies in our town and are willing to put in such long hours.

Thanks you very much.

It's times like these when it becomes obvious to everyone what a special community we have and that our public employees are a vital part of what makes Cranbury special.

I wonder if these past few days have changed the opinions of those who argue in favor of outsourcing public works and other departments. Let's hope so!

I want to thank public works, Chief Varga, mr. Cook and Mr. Taylor. We had issues like most families with downed lines and trees. All three of them were out today speaking with residents and working to get life back to normal. I spoke with them on Main St. today while they were working with crews from the county and PSE&G.

It was nice to see these people taking time to help get us back to normal.

I saw crews out non-stop. They have been working extra hard and am sure they have their own homes to worry about.

I can't imagine the cost or how long it would have taken if we had outsourced. Every private crew seems busy doing private work.

I want to thank our TC- Mayor Cook, Mr. Taylor, Mr. Mulligan, Mr. Johnson and Ms. Goetz. In many towns elected officials disappeared or were non-communicative. In our town I saw multiple Facebook posts, posts here and spoke with them as they walked our streets. They did not always have positive news, but as volunteers it was clear they were spending their personal time to help all of us.

They demonstrated to me that we have great leaders.

I also thank public works, police, fire and EMS who risked their lives to be on our streets during the storm and respond to emergencies. As well as the church who opened up for people.

This is a wonderful town and everyone came together to help.
