We want to thank so many of our neighbors, friends and the community for their support last night. I also want to thank the volunteers from the charity who came out to direct traffic and help with parking. All the support we get is so greatly appreciated!

Last night was our best night for donations; we raised over $700.00, thank you all who donated. I would like to point out something that was said last night, true or not seems to make sense. One of the people who was counting found $14,00 bundled all together which is an odd amount, generally it is a singles, a five, ten etc. but this amount was different, it was almost as is someone opened up their wallet and gave their last dollar. For those who know what we are trying to do with this display will understand this...Mark 12:41-43

As important as the donation are, the joy that this community was able to bring to so many is wonderful. To see the amazement in the kid’s eyes, (and adults!) hearing them sing (Well not so much the adults, LOL ) and dance with the music and lights It is very humbling.

We really cannot thank our community and those who came out enough!

I want to take this moment to thank the Shaw Family for the time and effort they put into this wonderful holiday display. I've read many of the comments posted that were a bit harsh but I'm so thankful for the smile and joyful tear their display put on my face. How quickly some of us have forgotten the pain and anguish our East Coast communities have endured during these past few months. Many have lost their homes due to Sandy and are not able to enjoy ANY type of Holiday joy this year. Have we forgotten the tragedy in Newtown and the families who will forever experience heartache during the Holiday Season? It has been a dark time and I for one have had little to smile about this Holiday Season until I saw this wonderful display of bright lights and joyful music. I'm sure there are many, many folks who feel the same as I do. The long and short of it....life is way too precious and way too short. Thanks again Keith & Family.

I want to thank the Shaws too. I really hope those who complain don't get traction like the four seasons group did with the property maintenance code. I don't want a few complainers to cost us this event.

Keith we heard you raised over $7000 in donations for the food banks is that true? If so I will admit I was somewhat a skeptic until I heard this.

I admit my wife and I are friends with a neighbor of yours and without having seen your display personally we have been sympathetic to their complaints over the last couple of years. This year after hearing so many of our own neighbors saying how beautiful it is we decided to see it ourselves. Although we will not be able to admit this to our friends our views have changed. It really is beautiful and we personally witnessed the joy it brought to so many people while we were there. In our hearts we wish you the best and pray the money you give will help those truly in need.

Thank you so much for all the kind words that have been expressed in this posting. We are so grateful with all the support that Cranbury has given us. This display has given us a chance to meet so many of those in the community that we normally would not have gotten to know. I cannot thank enough all of my friends who come out on New Years days to help take down the display. It took one day to take down what it took me 18 to put up! The donations this year were spectacular, to date we are at $6770.56 and we know there is more coming in! I will give a final total next week. Thank you so much everyone, this will provide a LOT of food to so many who are in need.
